Some shots from Bradley Beach …

I just can’t get enough of Asbury Park. Everywhere you go, it’s the early 1900’s. Convention Hall was built in 1930. In 1934, the luxury liner Morro Castle ran aground adjacent to the Convention Hall. The ship was carrying wealthy passengers from Havava to New York. There are many old photos of the disaster just off the boardwalk in Asbury Park.
Asbury Park is one great place to photograph. Friday, along with Gallery 13 resident James Mignogna, I checked out the Silver Ball, a pinball museum on the boardwalk. James is shooting a series on the place. Stay tuned for more info on his project and check out his great street images. The place is quite interesting with tons of old pinball machines. The owners are eager to tell you all the history behind the machines and have some great stories. Later, I stopped in Ocean Grove to photograph the Casino building. Wesley Lake, which separates Asbury from Ocean Grove is still completely frozen.
