Some night shots over Jordan Pond and at the top of Cadillac Mountain. The skies are crazy up here. The Milky Way is a ribbon across the sky and visible with the naked eye. Shooting stars are everywhere. Even caught a little aurora in the first image. What a wonderful place.

Weather has been pretty overcast since we arrived. This was a partially clear window over Jordan Pond.
Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park is the first place in the eastern US to see the sunrise. That’s the Porcupine Islands in the last photo.

One of my favorite places in Acadia National Park, yet it is not photographed much.
The view from the porch of the cottage in Seal Harbor, Maine. That’s the owner’s house next door. The clear sky with an added bonus in the exposure. The second shot was taken straight up.
Seal Harbor is just down the road from the cottage here on Mount Desert Island in Maine. The elevation is low and there is fog most mornings. Bar Harbor is about a 15 minute ride.
We arrived here on June 29th and will stay for the month of July. The first few days were rainy and overcast, but didn’t slow us down. This is the Frenchman’s Bay along the shore path in Bar Harbor.
Since my show is 500 miles away, I decided to post the images that will be on display.
