This small foot bridge located on Mt. Desert Island is the most photographed bridge in Maine.
Little Hunter’s Beach is a hidden treasure in Acadia Park, Maine. Not many know where to find it. It’s also known as “Musical Beach” because of the sound the rocks make when the waves come in and out.
Seal Harbor is the town where we are staying in Mt. Desert Island, Maine. These images were taken right down the road from the cottage we are renting.
Bar Island is one of the Pocupine Islands located on the Frenchman Bay in Bar Harbor. At low tide you can walk or drive out to this island. Some people get stranded and have to wait several hours for the tide to go back out. That’s my Subaru with the kayaks on top.
Bass Light is the only lighthouse with access by land on Mt. Desert Island, Maine. Everyone climbs down on the rocks to photograph it.
Northeast Harbor is the wealthy section of Mount Desert Island, Maine. There are hundreds of yachts and sailboats moored here.
