Here’s a small sample of birds that visit each day. This is only the small birds. There are also ospreys, herons, egrets, eagles, swans, ducks, and more. It’s such a wonderful world out back.

Ray, wondering if you use some type of portable blind when shoting birds. Great work.
Thanks, Chuck. No I don’t have a blind. Most of my small bird shots are taken from my living room shot through my sliding doors. I set up branches that are attached to my feeders about 15 feet away.

You obviously love nature as much as I do Ray, Great idea with the branch. Really enjoy seeing your photography. I have met Christine and Mark along the way. I live in Seaside Park. Maybe one day we will meet up in Island Beach State Park. I am sure our paths have crossed! May I ask which lens you used for these backyard shots? The Nikon 300 mm is my favorite as far as clarity. Also have the 150-500 Sigma, but don’t use as much. The new 150-600 (Tamron I believe) has been getting some good reviews and Christine is proving it to be a nice lens, along with her skills of course! Thanks for sharing your images.
