I took a quick trip down to the Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Refuge in Galloway, NJ. The birds are definitively on the move.

    Nice series Ray

  2. O, Ray, how funny! Karen Linder and I spoke of you often today, at Island Beach. We even met an older man, (from Wyoming?). who told us, as he raved about the Judge’s Shack, of the Friends for the Shack, of Hartshornes, etc.

His name may have been Bob, and he brought his grandson for the first time to IB, on a golden day. I think the grandson’s name is John.

Bob considers the Judge’s Shack THE icon of IB. When I spoke of you, urging the grandson to find you for him, that he has (six?) of your shots of the Judge’s Shack on his bedroom wall. He virtually interrupted himself to exclaim, “O, did you SEE that one of the Meteor Shower?!”

So you were with us today, and are often with Karen by electronic means, starting with your snowies.

And there YOU were in our usual haven! I love ‘coincidences’…. An historian I”m reading calls them “constellations of circumstances.” I call them blessings.

thank you for big birds on the move! Carolyn
