11/14/16 Bald Eagles – Conowingo Dam

Posted: April 6, 2017 in Uncategorized

I made my annual trek down to the Conowingo Dam in Maryland. This time of year, hundreds of Bald Eagles congregate along the Susquehanna River. Always a thrill to see the Bald Eagles dive for fish. The usual scenario … one eagle catches the fish, several eagles try to steal it. It’s always entertaining.

These are amazing, Ray. I especially love the first one…awesome expression on his face and look in his eye!

  2. They are great Ray! Looks like you are really making the rounds lately. I love to visit the Conowingo Dam. We usually go in November, but this year I am going to try in August as well as I hear there are Eagles around at that time too (and it is warmer!). Beautiful shots!

    Awesome photos, Ray!

  4. Always a delight, Ray! Hike for me until I’m given permission to return to favorite trails! c
