Cadillac Mountain is the first location on the east coast to see the sunrise. Those are the Porcupine Islands down in the Frenchman Bay.
I stopped by Little Long Pond after shooting the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain. The morning fog and the mini rainbow were a nice surprise.

My first time at Boulder Beach off the loop road in Acadia National Park. This was shot at dusk last night. I also went back this morning for sunrise. Those photos will follow.

I drove along the “Loop Road” in Acadia for a short while tonight.
Seal Harbor
Seal Harbor is the town where our rental cottage is located. The actual harbor is just a few hundred yards away. The tidal difference at low tide is about 12 feet.

We arrived at Acadia National Park on Saturday. Jordan Pond is just down the road and I’ll visit this location many times during the month. The Criterion Theatre in Bar Harbor was opened in 1932 and closed it’s doors two years ago.
