06/28/14 Jordan Pond- Acadia Park

Posted: July 16, 2014 in Uncategorized

We have been up at Acadia National Park in Maine for the past two weeks. I have so many images to post, they’ll be coming in rapid fire. These were taken on the first night here. The moon was almost dark, so I headed out as soon as it was dark.

I’m curious about what it’s like in the park at this time of night. Are there a lot of other photographers about, making it a bit more social? Or is it quiet and just you and the wildlife? Is the park open to visitors 24/7? Thanks!

Hi Dawn. Actually, most times I’m on my own unless I’m with a friend. Rarely do I run into anyone else. Normally just the wildlife that sometimes scares the heck out of me, like the deer and the fox.
