Had the pleasure of meeting a male Snowy Owl at Island Beach State Park on this day. Now there are at least two Snowy Owls at the park. This male is almost all white, females and juveniles have bars. The lighting was pretty harsh. Mr. Snowy was photographed from the beach.
Very nice Ray!!!!πππππππ
I love your photos of the Snowy Owl! The captions create personification! Well-done!
The first one is phenomenal

Ray,
Could you please let me have names of stores, addresses, where I can see your work. I live in Middletown Twp in No. Monmouth Co. near the Parkway.
Would love to see your work first hand……and always enjoy hitting Pt Pleasant OCEAN FRESH for a wonderful home made lobster bisque and/or their other fresh hot cream seafood soups at this time of year. Glad to hear your work is selling…..as I recall things were slow at Gallery 13. Their problem was lack of street exposure. You had to know it was way back there in far rear of the indoor arcade. Fooled me…….too. Do any other galleries show photog. in Asbury Park? I do not usually go there, as it is unsafe even on weekday afternoons as I found out doing a photo shoot there a few years ago.
I will never be a good photog. as I still own a Fujifilm bridge camera. Too poor to own DSLR and all the wonderful lens I cannot carry anyway due to mobility disabilities.
Curioius, how many hours do you spend daily walking at IBSP? Love your wildlife photos from park…..and I see you are constantly looking for new ways of seeing those same images, like myself….. Sorry to see so many other amateurs copying your work, and going to IBSP these days. Whatever happened to CREATIVITY?
Thank you.

I spend many hours on many days roaming around Island Beach State Park, especially when the Snowy Owls are here. I only live about twenty minutes away from the park and its my “go to” area. It has the beach, the bay, sunrises, sunsets, dark skies, and wildlife.
Again, I was not the first to photograph the fox and the snowy owls. Many have done it before me. It’s more like I’m copying their work then someone copying mine. Nature is there for everyone, not just me. Take care and thanks for all your support over the years.
