07/14/16 Common Loon Chicks

Posted: December 15, 2016 in Uncategorized

This summer was a very successful year for the Loon chicks. There were about 14 on Mount Desert Island and in Acadia National Park. Most have left for open waters, but a few remain. Hopefully they will head out before the lakes and ponds freeze.
