This year we were fortunate to experience the Fall on Mount Desert Island and in Acadia National Park in Maine. These images are from Northeast Creek, just across the street from our condo in Bar Harbor. It was wonderful watching the colors change each day. We even kayaked deep along the stream to see all the incredible colors. There is a also a cranberry bog about a mile downstream. This is just one of the many gorgeous places in the park during autumn.

Sharon during a peaceful moment.
Stunningly beautiful, Ray. Amazing colors and scenes that you’ve captured.
Very beautiful! I can see why you love it there so much Ray! Not to mention the wildlife. I hope to visit Acadia again one day.
Thanks, Angela. Come on up!
The Maine Fall foliage photos are wonderful especially #3 down from top, and the one of Sharon in the kayak. Curious, did you do any blurring of the beige grasses in the kayak peaceful scene w/PShop? That’s what I love about these 2 I chose…..the dreamy effect…not the usual sharp image. Both are wonderful compositions too. So glad you were able to be there for the peak foliage. When did that happen last Fall? My brother in law lost my sister to cancer in late August, and he made a road trip there from DC/MD area in early October, but it was gray and wet while he was there.
Yes, Marion. I did reduce the sharpening in PS. These photos are from last Fall. Thanks, Ray.
Outstanding, Ray — beyond belief, really — no wonder you’ve chosen Maine for those significant months. Thanks for taking us with you! smiles and gratitude, c
These photos are absolutely beautiful!
