12/11/15 Last Visit to Conowingo

Posted: December 23, 2015 in Uncategorized

Probably my last visit to the Conowingo Dam in Maryland. This was the first year I made the trip down to this wonderful place. I went back several times, and now it’s time to move on. Some good news, at least one Snowy Owl has returned to the Jersey Shore, photos will follow.

I enjoy looking at your photos. Thank you for sharing them. I went to Conowingo Dam for my first time on my birthday in December. It is amazing and I’m looking forward to going back soon. I’ll also be on the lookout for the snowy owl. I caught some really awesome photos last year at IBSP.

  2. thank you, Ray, for these literally uplifting images! we had an eagle at the Brig today, on the major osprey platform on right side, on Absecon Bay, not far from that tower (the one I’ve only once climbed – not sure why not) in solid fog two to three car lengths also given peregrine, a monarch who held court while his stunned subjects queued (sp?) some of us for more than an hour, on the 15 mph sign on right side of western-leading dike road he seemed to be given the serious photographers his best side Ray, you won’t be surprised that Tasha and Alan and I decided to picnic at that glorious turn, wreathed in fog, the peregrine the most vivid object of the day blessings of this Sacred time c Carolyn Foote Edelmann
